NOJOS Services & Youth Treatment
If your child has been referred to the NOJOS system, you're likely feeling overwhelmed, confused, or unsure where to start. At Atium Health, we provide compassionate, evidence-based NOJOS therapy in Utah to help adolescents and families move forward with clarity, structure, and support.

Compassionate Support for Your Family
Our licensed therapists specialize in working with at-risk youth and helping them regain trust, safety, and confidence. We offer in-person sessions in Pleasant Grove, making it easy for families to get the support they need.
Available in-person at our Pleasant Grove Clinic or via Utah telehealth.
We integrate standard sex-offense-specific treatment components, insight into offense dynamics and choice to offend, building realistic and effective self-regulation strategies and skills, developing a family safety plan, and much more.
Many youth need opportunities to resolve their own childhood struggles with interventions apart from the focus on their sexual misconduct to assist them in resolving trauma, enhancing emotional coping skills, and developing a healthy sexual identity.
What Is NOJOS Therapy?
NOJOS stands for Network of Juveniles Obtaining Support, a Utah-based treatment framework designed for youth who have displayed problematic or harmful sexual behaviors. Instead of focusing on punishment, the NOJOS model emphasizes:
Accountability
Helping youth take ownership of their actions in a supportive, non-shaming environment.
Skill-Building
Teaching practical emotional and social skills for healthier decision-making.
Emotional Regulation
Developing the ability to manage strong emotions without harmful behaviors.
Family Involvement
Engaging the entire family system to create lasting safety and support.
Our therapists use the NOJOS structure to guide treatment and tailor support to each child's developmental needs, trauma history, and risk level.
Understanding NOJOS Levels (1–5)
Every child entering the NOJOS system is assigned a treatment level based on risk, severity, and clinical need. While the levels may feel intimidating, they simply help set a structured plan for therapy.
At Atium Health, we specialize in treating youth at Levels 1 and 2. For higher-level needs, we can help connect families with appropriate resources.

How NOJOS Therapy Helps At-Risk Youth
Adolescents who engage in concerning behaviors are often coping with trauma, confusion, shame, isolation, or lack of emotional skills. NOJOS therapy helps by:
Boundary Setting & Respect
Teaching youth to recognize, set, and respect personal and interpersonal boundaries.
Trauma-Informed Healing
Addressing past trauma or adverse experiences that may be driving current behaviors.
Impulse Management Techniques
Reducing impulsive behavior through evidence-based skill-building techniques.
Restoring Family Dynamics
Rebuilding trust within the family system through structured communication and transparency.
Healthy Social Connection
Encouraging healthier peer relationships and social skill development.
Real-World Safety Roadmaps
Creating realistic, individualized safety plans that actually work in real-world situations.
Research shows that with the right treatment, most youth do not reoffend and go on to live healthy, connected lives.
